Sunrise: Willie Mae McGriff was born to Squire McGriff and Annie Lou Thomas McGriff on January 20, 1927 in Quincy, Fl. She was the second oldest of seven children.

She attended the public schools in Gadsden County, Fl. As an adult she moved to Early County Georgia, met and marries Bennie Hill Horsley. They later moved to Cocoa, Fl. In 1957 and raised seven children, four girls, three boys. She worked as a cook in various restaurants in the Merritt Island area and seafood and citrus industry.

She leave to cherish her memory; daughters; Juanita Foster, Cocoa, Fl.; Barbara Glanton, Palm Bay, Fl.; Clara Montgomery (Wesley), Merritt Island, Fl. and Beverly Henderson, Merritt Island, Fl. One son; Michael Horsley, Clearwater, Fl. Sixteen grandchildren; thirty-two great grands, five great-great grands; one niece, four nephews, one sister in-law and a host of cousins.

Friends and family will be received at Mt. Tabor Primitive Baptist Church (333 Lucas Rd, Merritt Island, Fl. 32953) on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at from 10 a.m.-11 a.m. with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 11 a.m. Burial at Riverview Memorial, Cocoa Fl.
